This is a great little vacuum, just don't expect miracles from it. I use it to suck up dust and cat hair from my my computer desk, and it does a great job. I haven't used it for much beyond that, and wouldn't expect it to do much more. Mind you, it has done a great job of picking up any little bits of paper, crumbs, dirt, etc., that I've thrown at it. Just don't purchase this vacuum with the idea of using it as a mini shop vac.

This unit is quiet, powerful, and sucks up my German "Shedders" hair in a jiffy. I have three sets of carpeted stairs in my house, and it's so wonderful to whip this light-weight machine out and take care of all three sets of stairs in mere minutes. No power cords, no maneuvering a heavy machine - it's quick and efficient. I was concerned about the battery cutting out after 6/10 minutes, but so far it hasn't been an issue. If anything, it makes me more efficient! No dilly-dallying allowed, I get right to what needs to be vacuumed and find I'm finished long before the battery discharges. This Dyson is expensive, but if you have a pet who sheds like crazy - you'll be very happy to have invested in this machine. Can't wait to try it out in my vehicle.
